Attuning to the Deep

Following an article written about the upcoming idea of deep sea mining and a proposal around how to do bioethics towards the unknown, a workshop was developed together with Kristien Hens and Bartaku.

On invitation by Matthijs De Block, the first edition was a try out with 17 students from LUCA school of arts in Gent, from various disciplines and backgrounds. After giving a context, the senses are addressed to open the participants up to a different approach. Finally, we dive into an exercise inspired by “The Parliament of Things” or familiy constellation methods to give and hear different voices of this complex setting deep under the sea.
